Last updated: 12 July 2026 Jungle Jive is made for children, so we built it to collect as little as possible. This policy explains exactly what that means. It is written to be read, not to be survived. The short version: the Jungle Jive app collects nothing. Everything your child does stays on your device. We have no servers, no analytics, no advertising, and no way to see your child's data even if we wanted to.

Nothing. There is no account, no login, and no sign-up.
Everything your child does is saved only on the phone, tablet, or computer you use, in the browser's own storage. This includes:
None of this is ever transmitted to us or to anyone else. It does not leave your device. We cannot see it, retrieve it, or restore it.
the information is gone permanently. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.
you have not visited for a while. Adding Jungle Jive to your home screen usually prevents this.
If you turn on "Read tasks aloud", the app asks your device's built-in speech feature to say the task out loud. On most devices this happens entirely offline. Some devices and browsers send the text to be spoken to the operating system maker's servers (for example, Apple, Google, or Microsoft) to generate higher-quality voices. That processing is governed by your device maker's privacy policy, not ours. The text sent is only the words of the task, such as "I brush my teeth" - never your child's name, feelings, or any other data. If you prefer to avoid this entirely, leave read-aloud switched off.
Our website and app are served by third-party hosting and marketing platforms.
Like any web host, these services automatically record standard technical information when a page loads - your IP address, browser type, and which page you requested - for security and to keep the service running. We do not use these server logs to identify anyone.
Our pages use the Nunito typeface, which loads from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser contacts Google's servers, which receive your IP address. Google describes this at policies.google.com/privacy.
We use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to understand how people find and use our site - which pages are visited, and how visitors move through them. This helps us make the site better. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your device, browser and general location; it does not tell us who you are by name. You can read how Google handles this data at policies.google.com/privacy, and you can opt out across all sites using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We also use the Pinterest tag, which helps us understand when a visit to our site came from Pinterest. It sets cookies and shares limited activity with Pinterest so we can see how well our pins are working. Pinterest describes this in its privacy policy at policy.pinterest.com.
You can control or clear cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking these cookies will not stop you using the site - it simply means we see less about how it is used.
If you give us your name and email address to join the waitlist, they are stored securely in our customer platform and used only to send you occasional updates about Jungle Jive, and to tell you when the app is ready. We will not sell them, rent them, or share them. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to delete your details at any time by emailing [email protected].
If you buy the Jungle Jive printable pack through Etsy, Etsy handles your purchase and your personal information, not us. Their privacy policy governs that transaction. We can see the information Etsy shows sellers - such as your name and the email address you use to contact us - and we use it only to deliver your order and answer your questions.
Jungle Jive is designed for children aged 3 to 7, and we take that seriously.
never able to communicate with anyone through the app.
young children do not change them by accident. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we do not collect it from children either. This is our approach to obligations such as the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the European Union's GDPR protections for children, and the Australian Privacy Act 1988. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, please email [email protected] and we will delete it.
Because we hold almost no information about you, most requests are simple:
app's data in your browser settings deletes it permanently.
will show you what we hold, correct it, or delete it.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to complain to a regulator. In Australia, that is the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
The safest data is data that does not exist, and the app's design reflects that: there is no server to breach and no database to leak. Your child's information is protected by whatever protects your device - its passcode, its encryption, and your own care.
If we change how Jungle Jive handles information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. If a change is significant - for example, if we ever introduced optional cloud backup - we would tell waitlist subscribers by email before it took effect, and it would always be something you opt into, never something switched on for you.
